This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application “Vira” and related services provided by us (“Vira,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other regional data protection laws.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our services.
1) Eligibility
- Vira is intended for users aged 18 and above only. By using Vira, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal data to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to delete such data.
2) Information We Collect
We collect and process only the data necessary to provide and improve our services:
- Account and identity information: display name, avatar, email address (if you register or contact us).
- Device and technical information: device model, OS version, device settings, language, time zone, IP address, app version, crash logs, performance data, and identifiers such as Apple’s Identifier for Vendors (IDFV) used for anti-abuse, analytics, and security.
- Usage data: feature interactions, screen views, session timestamps, error and diagnostic information.
- In-app purchase and subscription data: order status, transaction identifiers, subscription status and duration. Payments are processed by Apple; we generally do not receive your full payment card details.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): any text, images, audio, video, comments, interactions, and related metadata you create, upload, post, or share within the app.
- Communications: content of your communications with support and your contact details when you reach out.
We do not collect sensitive personal data unless strictly necessary for a specific feature and with your explicit consent when required.
3) How We Use Your Information and GDPR Legal Bases
We process your personal data for the following purposes and under the corresponding legal bases:
- Provide and maintain services and features (including account management, content hosting, in-app purchases and subscriptions)

4) Cookies, SDKs, and Similar Technologies
- We may use local storage, device identifiers, and analytics SDKs for session continuity, preference settings, performance analytics, security, and anti-abuse.
- Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before enabling non-essential analytics or tracking. You can manage relevant permissions in your device or app settings where available.
5) Device Identifiers and Advertising
- We may use Apple’s IDFV to prevent abuse, for aggregated analytics, and to improve service quality.
- We do not access or use IDFA for cross-app advertising unless you have granted system-level permission and provided in-app consent where applicable.
6) In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
- Vira supports in-app purchases and subscriptions processed by Apple App Store. We do not store your full payment card information.
- We process essential transaction data (e.g., transaction ID, subscription status) to activate entitlements, validate receipts, and provide after-sales support.
7) User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy and Moderation
To maintain a safe, lawful, and respectful community, all UGC in Vira must comply with the following:
- No sexual content, pornography, sexual exploitation, minors’ sexual content, incest, or other obscene content.
- No excessively graphic, gory, or otherwise disturbing content that could cause strong discomfort.
- No promotion or facilitation of illegal activities, including gambling, buying/selling/using illegal drugs, or other criminal conduct.
- No extremist, terrorist, or hate-inciting content, and no encouragement of unlawful acts.
- No political manipulation, coordinated disinformation, or content that may trigger real-world harm, to the extent restricted by applicable laws.
- No harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, or abusive behavior. No hate speech or discrimination on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, medical condition, or other protected characteristics.
- No infringement of third-party rights, including privacy, portrait, reputation, trade secrets, and intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, patent).
- No doxxing or disclosure of others’ non-public personal information, and no content recorded or shared without consent.
- No malware, spyware, adware, viruses, trojans, worms, corrupted files, or other malicious code that could disrupt or harm devices, networks, or data.
- No spam, deceptive engagement, repetitive or irrelevant mass messaging, artificial boosting, or manipulative traffic generation.
- No unauthorized commercial promotion, including sales, contests, advertisements, unsafe redirects, premium-rate numbers, or other for-profit activities without permission.
- No content or behavior that violates applicable laws, platform rules, or the spirit of these policies.
Moderation and enforcement:
- We use a combination of automated and human review to detect policy violations.
- Upon detection or report of violations, we may remove or restrict content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, and where necessary, cooperate with platforms or competent authorities.
- If your content is moderated, you may appeal via our support channels. We will review appeals within a reasonable timeframe.
8) Sharing and Disclosure
We may share the minimum necessary information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers and processors: for hosting, storage, analytics, messaging, customer support, and related services, under confidentiality and data protection obligations and not for their own purposes.
- Legal and compliance: to comply with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful requests, protect user and public safety, or defend our legal rights.
- Business transfers: in connection with mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers, or insolvency events, with appropriate safeguards and obligations for the recipient.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell your personal data.
9) International Transfers
If data is transferred to countries or regions outside your jurisdiction, we will implement appropriate safeguards under applicable laws, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or ensure the recipient provides an adequate level of protection.

Vira may contain links to third-party websites or services. These third parties have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.
14) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you through in-app notices, pop-ups, or other reasonable means. The updated Policy applies from the stated effective date.

17) Community and Content Standards (Summary)
- Vira is for users 18+.
- UGC must be lawful, respectful, and must not infringe third-party rights.
- Strictly prohibited: sexual content, disturbing content, gambling, drugs, discriminatory or hateful content, political manipulation that violates applicable law, and other violations.
- Violations may lead to content removal, feature limitations, account suspension or termination, and cooperation with relevant platforms and authorities where necessary.
18) Additional Notice on Prohibited Content
When using our service, you will encounter content from various sources. Some content is not allowed, and we must impose restrictions on certain types of content. These include:
1) Language or images that may be considered offensive, harassing, unsettling, embarrassing, alarming, or infuriating to others.
2) Obscene, pornographic, violent, or other content that may violate personal dignity.
3) Abusive, insulting, threatening, discriminatory, or content that promotes racism, gender bias, hatred, or prejudice.
4) Encouragement of illegal activities, including but not limited to terrorism, incitement of racial hatred, or engaging in criminal activities.
5) Defamation or slander.
6) Involvement in commercial activities (including sales, contests, advertisements, reverence for other websites, or premium phone numbers).
7) Transmission of “spam” emails or “junk mail.”
8) Any content containing spyware, adware, viruses, corrupted files, worms, or other malicious code intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the functionality of software, hardware, telecommunications, networks, servers, or other devices, or materials that interfere with any other device, Trojan horses, or any other material intended to damage, interfere with, erroneously intercept, or misappropriate any data or personal information.
9) Content that itself or when published infringes upon the rights of any third party (including but not limited to intellectual property rights and privacy rights).
